The Product Integration Engineer works with cutting edge applications and state-of-the -art systems created by technology industry giants. Each team member works to integrate Interactive Intelligence Inc.’s world-class internally developed, award winning  business software solutions with the latest releases from top vendors such as VMWare, Salesforce.com, Oracle, IBM, etc.  The Product Integration Engineer will have ownership and be responsible for creating seamless integrations between multiple systems and platforms.  This individual will oversee the entire product integration process, and have the chance to exponentially expand their technical skill set by simulating different customer environments.  The Product Integration Engineer is responsible for building complex environments, large-scale simulations, managing new releases, and ensuring a solid quality user experience from beginning to end.  These product integrations require vast complexity and advanced system analysis and design.  They utilize an Engineer's senior-level experience in database, system, and network administration.  Real-world end-to-end customer environments are reproduced and then improved to deliver the optimal product integration across various platforms and release versions. Major Responsibilities/Activities:

• Position requires setting up and maintaining test environments.  Working with Peers and Development to find problems with Interactive Intelligence products. 
• Person will be managing / supporting multiple products at one time from ground up.  Must be able to capture information on how one function / process may impact another and create test environments. 
• Capture design requirements and specifications for product testing.  Ability to interact heavily with developers on a regular basis to diagnose problems identified by test runs.
• Must be dedicated to creating world class user experiences.
• Driven to succeed as a key contributor to technical projects.
• Will be responsible for writing complete test cases.
• Assist in special product-related issues as needed.
• Continually enhance technical and professional skills. 
  

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree in computer science or computer technology or equivalent in work experience
• Working knowledge of the design and implementation of network, software and hardware solutions.
• Experience with setting up and maintaining Windows 2003 or 2008 Server operating system and technologies such as domains, Active Directory, mail or database systems.
• Strong communication skills (verbal/written); good presentation skills.
• Knowledge of MS Exchange, Lotus Notes, SQLServer, Oracle, Telecommunications, Server Hardware and/or Database platforms is needed.
• Prior experience with various testing tools is required.
• Experience with TCP/IP-based networking including routers, switches, network topologies, etc. is a must
• Familiarity with telephony is highly preferred
• Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S.
