Ideal course work would involve:

Management of the Software Development Process (software engineering)

Object-Oriented Design and Programming

Introduction to Distributed Computing

Database Systems

Programming Language

Advance Topics Distributed Systems

Networking Topics

The intern/co-op roles desire at least a junior level status, GPA above a 3.0 and the full time roles will consider June, December 2013 graduates. The Automation Test Engineer role is seeking new grads and will consider June or December 2013 graduates. The Software Automation Intern role is full for this summer, but I also have openings for Fall/Winter and Spring. The Software Automation Team desires a solid knowledge of C++, Java or C##, at least one database and networking class. Distributed systems is not required for the Software Automation Team. The role needs an understanding of complex OOL, but most of the coding is done in JavaScript or TypeScript. We seek candidates that have a GPA above 3.0. Some positions within the company are open to F1 and H1 Visa candidates, but these roles at this time are not open, however Permanent Resident or EAD candidate will be gladly considered.

Finally we would like to consider candidates that would be open to relocating to Indianapolis when they graduate. Indianapolis is a great city with a very appealing cost of living. Nearby Carmel Indiana was Money Magazine’s top pick for the best small city in the US to live. Interactive Intelligence Inc. has a very relaxed culture with no formal dress code, jeans and shorts are both acceptable. We offer an onsite fitness center, café and health clinic. We were recently named Indiana Tech company of the year and we have the largest testing lab in the state of Indiana. We have been around since 1994 and we are well run with no debt! Any student that fits the criteria I described I would be thrilled to see a resume. We treat our interns /co-ops really well and offer an hourly salary and housing allowance for out of state or far away candidates. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding the positions.

Seth Godin Internship

Body:

For detailed information about this opportunity, as well as instructions about how to apply, please visit http://www.squidoo.com/summer-2013-seth-godin-internship

Let's build something incredible ... Or, at the very least, useful, generous and powerful.

For the fourth time, I'm assembling a team of interns to brainstorm, sketch out and possibly build a new online thing. I'm hoping you're open to reading through the details of how this works and possibly applying.

My guess is that there will be a bunch of applications, so please read the details carefully, as it will save both of us a lot of trouble. Thanks!

Alas, we should start with the fine print

Creativity needs boundaries, and so does a program like this. Here we go:

July 22 to August 2, 2013On location in Hastings on Hudson, NY, about 40 minutes from Midtown Manhattan, USA.

We work long days, and there's a large amount of personal responsibility required.

It's expected that you're facile in English, technology, the web and fast-moving projects.

I can't offer any help at all in transport, visas, lodging or access to a laptop. Lunch is provided, though. (I'll happily connect all interns in June so you can coordinate living arrangements, etc.)

After the two weeks are over, it's entirely possible that some interns will be asked to stay on to help build and manage what we create. Possible, but not guaranteed.

The project and the process is off the record and is a work-for-hire.

You'll need to fill out a W-9. Stipend is taxable.

Application deadline: Midnight, May 31, New York time.

Pay is a $2000 stipend, paid halfway through.

If someone mentions that you referred them to this application, I'll be very impressed. Scarcity is not that useful here.
