Lee Zelenak

Bio and Research Information

Lee is a graphic designer and educator based in Chicago, IL and currently teaching at DePaul university. He attended Kent State University, receiving a Master of Fine Arts degree in Visual Communication Design, with a focus on Branding and Environmental Graphic Design. Previously, he was a Associate Creative Director at VSA Partners in Chicago, working on the branding team for IBM. In 2012, he was a Senior Designer for President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign. Prior to the Obama campaign, he was a designer at a Cleveland based branding agency, Twist Creative, leading branding projects for Ohio City Incorporated (which includes the West Side Market,) Cleveland Health-Tech Corridor, and The People for Joe Cimperman. He also taught design at Kent State University, and served as Programming Director for AIGA Cleveland.
