Matthew Irvine

Matthew Irvine received his B.A. from DePauw University and his M.F.A. in Film and Video from Columbia College. He has over ten years experience in the motion picture industry ranging from directing to screenwriting. He has written over eight screenplays including 'The Hazing,' winner of the Producer's Access Program, and 'Dark Water.' Matt was one of the principles involved with the restoration of the cult classic film, 'Carnival of Souls,' which was released as part of the Criterion Collection. Matt's motion picture (writer/director), 'Bludgeoned: a.k.a. No Tomorrow,' was released by Spectrum Entertainment, currently available on DVD and VHS. Matt has been teaching at DePaul since 1997 and is currently Director of the Center for Cinema & Interactive Arts.
