Aleksandar Velkoski

Bio and Research Information

Dr. Velkoski serves as Director of Data Science at the National Association of Realtors. In addition, he is an Adjunct Professor in the College of Computing and Digital Media at DePaul University, and Co-Founder and Organizer Emeritus of Chicago ML, a community of machine learning scientists. He also serves as Distinguished Faculty Advisor & Mentor at the Innovation Development (iD) Lab at DePaul University, and Mentor at Second Century Ventures. Prior to joining the National Association of Realtors, Aleksandar worked in numerous analytical roles of increasing responsibility, including at Rewards Network, a leading Restaurant Marketing & Financial Services Firm, and Daimler AG, a top Fortune Global 500 Motor Vehicles & Parts Manufacturer best known for its Mercedes-Benz brand. Prior to joining DePaul University, Aleksandar was an Adjunct Professor in the College of Engineering at Lawrence Tech. University, and the Center for Advanced Technologies at FocusHope. Aleksandar earned his doctorate in business from Lawrence Tech. University in 2012, and holds an MBA and BS from the same institution. In addition, he completed Wharton Marketing Metrics, an executive education program at the University of Pennsylvania, and is recognized as a Microsoft Certified Azure AI Engineer Associate.
