Yoseph Mendelsohn

Bio and Research Information

Yosef Mendelsohn is an accomplished educator in computer science and data analytics. He has been teaching technical subjects over a period of nearly 20 years encompassing a wide range of topics such as Java, C++, Python, Statistics, R, Web Design, and others. He has received awards and accolades for his ability to explain complex topics in a clear and engaging manner. In his role as a computer and data scientist, Yosef has consulted for various companies and startup organizations in the Chicagoland area. He has also collaborated with major academic institutions around Chicago including Northwestern University, University of Chicago, and DePaul University. Yosef has a degree in Music Performance from DePaul University, and a Medical Doctorate from Northwestern University Medical School. He also has a Master’s degree in Predictive Analytics and Machine Learning from DePaul University, which has led to consulting work in medical analytics, machine learning and AI. Yosef is a former Canadian national wrestling champion, a private pilot, and holds a divemaster rating in scuba diving.
