DePaul’s downtown campuses are located in Chicago's South Loop, steps away from great restaurants, bustling nightlife and the city’s premier cultural destinations and events, including Taste of Chicago, Blues Fest, Millennium Park and Lincoln Park Zoo.
You won’t need a car to live, study and play in Chicago. The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) operates trains and buses serving the city of Chicago and 40 surrounding suburbs. DePaul’s Loop and Lincoln Park campuses are located within walking distance of major CTA trains and bus lines.
DePaul's Housing Office has information on housing options and student rental properties online. Housing is available throughout the city in many price ranges, from the luxury condominiums on Michigan Avenue to mid-range housing areas in neighborhoods including Hyde Park, Lincoln Park, Lakeview, Wicker Park, and Uptown.
