At DePaul CDM, we understand that undergraduate students have special academic and personal concerns. The Advising Office is here to assist undergraduate level students in making the decisions that will help you make the most of your time at CDM.

The CDM Advising Office recognizes that undergraduate students have many different student support needs.

Therefore, our services are catered to making it easy for you to receive the help you need. We offer many resources online, so spend some time reading through our pages.

We provide advising by phone, e-mail and in-person appointments.

Important Topics for Undergraduate Students


  • How to manage your academic career: Memorize the following 2 websites: Campus Connection and MyCDM. Use them to enroll in classes, view your degree planner, schedule appointments with advisors, etc.

  • Graduation Requirements: A minimum of 192 quarter hours are required to graduate. The last 60 credit hours must be completed at DePaul University as part of the university residency requirement.

  • Minimum Grade Requirements: All undergraduate students must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.000 All major field courses require grades of at least C. Grades of C- may be acceptable provided the GPA in the major is at least 2.000.

  • Academic Calendar: It is your responsibility to know and abide by all the important dates and deadlines each quarter!

  • Your CDM Contacts: Know your faculty advisor! You may also contact the CDM Advising Office if you need assistance. Any staff advisor can help you!
