Alexander Stewart graduated from the University of Richmond and received his MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He curates a monthly screening series at Roots & Culture gallery in Chicago, and is co-director of the Eyeworks Festival of Experimental Animation. His short films have screened in festivals internationally, including at the Ann Arbor Film Festival, the Tribeca Film Festival, the International Film Festival Rotterdam, and ImageForum in Tokyo.
