Badar is a doctoral candidate in the Computer & Information Sciences program. He holds a BSc (Hons) in e-Commerce & Digital Business from the University of Nottingham (2007), he also holds an MS in e-Commerce Technologies from DePaul University (2011). Badar’s research has focused on different technologies like digital payments, Internet of Things, Cloud computing, and their impact on the individuals’ using them. He is currently focused on the impact of privacy & security on the individuals’ adoption of new technologies. Prior to joining academia, Badar worked across multiple industries, including retail, banking, telecommunications, & consulting. He served in different capacities, including: international strategic sales, business & product development, process re-engineering & optimization, project management, and technology transformation consulting.
