This assistantship will aid in the upkeep of the school’s stop motion animation facilities. Job responsibilities include training with supervisor on animation gear and making regular checks on studio spaces and equipment. Student will learn about cameras, lighting, hardware, animation shooting stages, fabrication spaces, and strategies to run these facilities.

This position covers maintenance and support for the animation program's stop motion facilities. Tasks include camera/grip/lighting troubleshooting, maintaining/cleaning shooting stages and fabrication rooms, scheduling, and student support. The assistant will learn stop motion animation camera gear, animation techniques, and physical tools and materials for puppets and set construction.
