It is never too early to begin to utilize the services provided by the DePaul Career Center. These services are designed to assist in preparing for your future career and all students are strongly encouraged to participate in the opportunities available. Included here are some of the resources available to you.
One-On-One Career Advising Sessions
The Technology & Design Career Advisor is available from 9am-5pm every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday in the Loop Career Center (DePaul Center, Ste 9500) and every Tuesday in the Lincoln Park Career Center (SAC, 2320 N. Kenmore, Room 192). Set up an appointment via Handshake. Drop-in advising (i.e. no appointment necessary) is available every Monday from 3-5pm in the Loop Career Center.
CDM Advising and the Career Center have collaborated to bring career advising to CDM every Thursday 2-4pm (CDM building, 1st floor tutoring center). Schedule appointments through BlueStar to receive guidance on:
- Job & Internship search strategies
- Resume critiques
- Interview practice and networking skills
- Job titles and salaries
- Portfolio reviews
