Make It At DePaul

The next generation of workers will require high value skills such as critical thinking, collaborative and communicative ability, and cross-disciplinary capability. CPS Data Science BootCamp

In partnership with the CPS Office of Computer Science, CDM’s School of Computing hosts a Data Science BootCamp for Chicago Public School high school students. Designed for students interested in learning more about the fast-growing field of data science, participants engage in a variety of hands-on activities in a computer lab to explore ways to analyze data, and learn how to create innovative solutions using digital information to make a positive impact in our society. Students use the latest computer applications to build visualizations and to analyze and extract information from data. Projects are drawn from real-life applications around topics of interests to the students.
