DC 271: Introduction to Television Production

An introduction to the basic principles, procedures, and techniques of television production. The course heavily utilizes Digital Cinema's TV studio. Students are organized in teams and create various TV broadcasts. Students learn how to operate TV switchers, TV cameras, sound, and graphic equipment. The course covers the fundamentals of producing, scripting, directing, and editing for television. PREREQUISITE(S): DC 210
