School of Computing Research

While all of our faculty members are skilled classroom instructors, DePaul CDM also boasts faculty members with accomplishments in both theoretical and applied research in technology. CDM faculty members are frequently cited experts in local and national media. They author textbooks, publish academic papers, and present at major conferences.

School of Computing Research Areas

CDM faculty conduct research in many areas of interest. There are over 10 research groups and centers focused on a variety of diverse and interdisciplinary topics in technology.

School of Computing Research Colloquium

The research colloquium consists of weekly talks by a variety of speakers including faculty, students, and guests from the academic and business communities. The lectures feature new creative and scholarly work that encompasses the disciplines and areas of interest of the school of computing.

Student Research Opportunities

Undergraduate students who are considering graduate school or are in search of hands-on experience to supplement their academic study may be eligible to participate in research projects at CDM. Undergraduate students can become part of research teams consisting of several faculty and graduate students and work together on different research projects. Students have the opportunity to participate in research at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
