Game, Cinema, and Animation Summer Academy

This is an intensive week-long program for high school students interested in the film, television, or game industries. Participants receive hands-on instruction using the latest equipment and technology and are taught by full-time DePaul faculty with real-world experience.

Introduction to Engineering

Full-time faculty in our School of Computing will introduce students to engineering design principles as applied to intelligent systems. Students will explore embedded systems through interaction with sensors and motors, consider prototype design with laser cutters and 3D printers, and program a robot to navigate an obstacle course.

Jarvis Game Development Summer Camp

Harnessing the power of the Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN), high school campers will receive hands-on training enabling them to create games and experiences directly into Fortnite.

AI Summer Camp

Learn all about the fast-growing field of data science and AI under the mentorship of DePaul's finest students and faculty mentors. Work on a real-world problem presented by Abbott Labs centered around AI innovations. This camp takes place July 7-31, 2025.

The Summer CHA Programs

Three six-week intensive programs in filmmaking, screenwriting, and photography are designed for Chicago Housing Authority teens. CDM graduate students have the opportunity to teach and learn as student mentors for the programs.
