POST 128: The Art of Sound Design and Film

This lecture course is an introduction to the language of film sound and music as practiced by screenwriters, directors and producers. The course will cover the basics of sound, analyzing the use of sound and music in film and the roles of sound designers and composers in the filmmaking process. This course does not qualify as a prerequisite for upper-level sound courses and sound studio access.
