Packaging Design
This course defines the role of packaging in product identification, presentation, and production. Projects will introduce the process of designing the graphic and physical forms of packaging design. Students will create 3-dimensional, physical packages including 2-dimensional branding, graphic and photographic image development. The materials of production, and consideration of user and market inherent in all commercial projects are covered, including the client's needs and desires in the market place.
GD 200 and GD 230 are prerequisites for this class.
