Alexander Stewart attended the University of Richmond and later received his MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where he studied in the Art & Technology Studies department. His 2005 experimental film Errata has screened at film festivals and galleries in the US and abroad, including the Tribeca Film Festival, the International Film Festival Rotterdam and the Ann Arbor Film Festival. He runs a monthly film & video screening series at Roots & Culture gallery in Chicago.
