John Corba

Bio and Research Information

In addition to teaching John Corba is the Director of DePaul Cinespace Studios, and serves as the director of operations for DePaul's, over 32,000 square feet, professional production facility formed in alliance with Cinespace Chicago Film Studios. He has over 20 years of professional production experience working in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago in variety of capacities and departments. He is an accomplished producer, production designer, art director, and prop-master and has worked on feature films, television shows, music videos and countless commercials. More recently, John was the on-set dresser on the hit television show "Shameless", in the prop department on the television shows, "Chicago Fire" and "The Unit", and in set decoration on the shows "Lincoln Heights", "Rizzoli & Isles", "Playboy Club" and "Boss". He received his B.S. in TV/Radio/Film production from the The Newhouse School at Syracuse University and his MFA at DePaul in the School of Cinematic Arts.
