Research and Creative Activity
CDM treats research and creative activity as integral to its delivery of first-class instruction to students. CDM hosts various informal groups and formal centers dedicated to the pursuit of new learning in computing and digital media. Faculty in the School of Computing (SOC) and the School of Cinema and Interactive Media (CIM) are active participants and leaders in various professional organizations, centers, and initiatives that focus on research and creative activity.
CDM students, like CDM faculty, are encouraged to participate in research and creative activity. CDM offers a variety of opportunities for student involvement in team projects with faculty mentors. These opportunities are excellent for building resumes and preparing for later professional life.
