Summary of autumn 2023-2024 degree requirement updates for graduate programs in the School of Computing

This page is intended to highlight the most significant changes to MS programs in the School of Computing for academic year 2023-2024. All programs listed here include a reduced number of credit hours from 52 to 48 credits beyond any Introductory Courses that may be required for the program.

These new requirements are officially in place for all students admitted or readmitted to one of the programs for summer 2022-2023 or autumn 2023-2024.

Students admitted PRIOR to summer 2022-2023 will retain the program requirements in place for the term in which they were admitted unless they take action to update their program requirements.

International Students: Please note that updating to the autumn 2023-2024 requirements for your program may mean that you are opting out of your remaining Curricular Practical Training (CPT) hours. CPT hours must apply directly in your degree program.
