Denise Nacu

Bio and Research Information

Denise Nacu is an Assistant Professor in the College of Computing and Digital Media School of Design. As a designer and researcher at the intersection of technology, learning, and design, she co-directs the Technology for Social Good Research and Design Lab and works with the Digital Youth Network. Her current research interests focus on examining the interactions of educators and learners in online learning platforms, and building technology tools and visualizations to support youth learning and development. She received a Ph.D. in Education (Learning Technologies) from the University of Michigan in 2004 and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History, with a minor in Psychology, from Columbia University in 1995.
