Rajeev is the Vice President of Technology and Information Security at CEDA, the state's largest and oldest community action agency serving the Chicagoland area. Here, he provides leadership, governance, and a strategic vision of organizational innovation through technology. He leads the IT Department and guides the development and implementation of the organization’s IT systems, infrastructure, and operations. He oversees the agency's cybersecurity posture and implements best practice policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
Rajeev has previously worked as the Director of Technology, primarily in the public service arena at the City of Chicago's legal department. He conducted strategic and operational technology planning and implementations. He was responsible for technical vendor management, budgeting, contracting, and business process re-engineering. He has advised attorneys and government leadership on the processes of Electronic Discovery, Investigative computer forensics, as well as compliance and security practices. He has also worked at the Chicago Transit Authority, managing their real-time transit tracking systems, ensuring over a million commuters can schedule and plan their daily commutes.
Rajeev received his Master of Science degree in Business and Information Technology from DePaul University and his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from Northeastern Illinois
University. He has been teaching at DePaul since 2012.
