Matt Hovde is a Resident Director and Artistic Director for The Second City in Chicago. His directing credits include Algorithm Nation; A Red Line Runs Through It, Let Them Eat Chaos, Sky’s The Limit (Weather Permitting), Studs Terkel’s Not Working, America: All Better!; Between Barack and a Hard Place, and The Best of the Second City. He has directed and taught for The Second City in Atlanta, Dallas, Detroit, Denver, Baltimore, Vienna, Brussels, Madrid, Tokyo, Melbourne, and other amazing places. Matt is the co-founder of the Bob Curry Fellowship, a professional development program at Second City for diverse talent and voices. He loves games, science, and sandwiches.
