Jerry Tran is a Chicago based set lighting technician. With a career spanning over 20 years, Jerry has worked on the crew of many films, television shows, and commercials. His filmmaking adventures ranged from massive Hollywood action features to small art house films and from national TV commercials to local political spots. When he is not on a film set or in the classroom, Jerry spends his time tinkering, programming, designing, fabricating and making.
Jerry studied Cinematography at Columbia College Chicago and holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from Michigan State University.
