Dr. Chonghua Zhang retired from the position of technical director at CDM in 2018. Chonghua Zhang received his Master in computer science in 1992 and Ph.D. in 2003 at DePaul University. He has taught for CDM since the fall of 1994 and received the outstanding part-time faculty member for the 1999-2000 academic year.
Zhang finished his undergraduate in physics in 1968 at East China Normal University and completed his graduate program in physics in 1982. From 1987 to 1990, Zhang worked at the physics department at Northwestern University as a visiting scholar in the Nonlinear Optics area.
