Bio and Research Information

New to DePaul's CDM adjunct faculty, Lee Ferdinand has been an adjunct instructor in the Cinema and Television Arts department at Columbia College Chicago and the Arts and Humanities instructor for the Teen Learning Lab of Greater Chicago. Currently a programmer for Chicago’s Nightingale cinema theater, in the past he has served as the documentary programmer for the Chicago International Film Festival and has programmed events at the Chicago Cultural Center, Columbia College and the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. In addition he is a DVD producer for Music Box Films and recently completed an MFA in Film, Video, Animation and New Genres at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. Lee’s body of work reflects interests at the margins of the social and the natural where the human made experience encounters the non-human animate world.
