Program Details

Program Details

The Introduction to CyberPhysical Systems Engineering (CPSE) Camp will take place Monday through Saturday, June 12-17, from 9am to 5pm at DePaul University’s Loop Campus. The camp, which is designed for current high school students, will introduce students to engineering design principles in general and to cyberphysical systems engineering specifically.

Through this program, full-time faculty in our School of Computing will introduce students to foundational skills taught in CPSE and provide the opportunity to apply those skills with hands-on activities. Students will be exposed to principles of embedded systems and real-world design using accessible technologies.

Students will explore embedded systems through interaction with sensors and motors, consider prototype design with laser cutters and 3D printers, and use robot programming to make an mBot robot navigate an obstacle course and reach a target.
