DePaul University is proud to announce the DeSports Esports Academy from June 19-23 for Chicago area students who will be in the 11th and 12th grade in Fall. The program will be held at the DePaul Center, 1 E Jackson Blvd, Chicago.

Why Attend DeSports?

• To enjoy a casual gaming environment focused on the joy of play and learning through different games, some undoubtedly new to you.
• To use gaming to improve important skills for your success in esports and academics, such as communication, collaboration, and problem solving.
• To explore some of the many computing-related careers in esports, such as game programming, game design, broadcasting, content creation, and technical infrastructure.
• To meet DePaul computing faculty in esports-related fields and DePaul student gamers.

DeSports is open to all levels of gamer, from novice to expert. Since this is not a competitive team environment, there are no ranking requirements for any game.

The DeSports Academy fee is $100, which includes lunch. Scholarships are available.

Interested students must apply by June 11, 2023. Please register by June 4, 2023 if you would like a DeSports t-shirt.
