A three-week intensive, online workshop to prepare for the TS410 - SAP Certified Application Associate—Business Process Integration with SAP S/4HANA examination
As a member of SAP-University Alliances Program, DePaul University is pleased to announce its inaugural SAP TS410 Workshop to prepare students for the TS410 - SAP Certified Application Associate – Business Process Integration with SAP S/4HANA examination. This certification exam validates that the candidate has the core knowledge about business processes and their integration in SAP's next-generation ERP suite, S/4HANA. The certification is recommended as an entry-level qualification for consultants and project team members to become experienced with SAP S/4HANA's end-to-end business process fundamentals. The workshop covers business functions that are highly integrated into the S/4HANA system including managerial and financial accounting, human resources, procurement, manufacturing, sales and distribution, warehouse management, enterprise asset management and project management. The workshop's instructor will provide guidance on how to register for the exam (which is an online exam) – however, students in the workshop must register for the exam directly with SAP. It is highly recommended that the exam be taken promptly after completing the workshop and within one week of its completion.
You will be able to:
- Describe how various business processes are performed in SAP S/4HANA
- Identify key master data which must be maintained to execute each business process
- Identify and explain the key integration points between the different applications supporting each business process cycle
- Be ready to take the SAP TS410 certification exam
The SAP TS410 Workshop offers an intensive training curriculum and is designed for individuals already familiar with business process integration and SAP's ERP suite. Participation is limited to DePaul students (either undergraduate or graduate) who have recently completed specific IS coursework--see ADMISSION section below for a list of eligible courses. If a student has not completed the pre-requisite course, but is a professional with significant experience working with various SAP ERP modules, consideration for admission will be given.
The workshop will be conducted completely online, via Zoom. There are eight, full-day class meetings (8:30am-4:30pm) over a three-week period. Students are expected to attend all class meetings, as this will be a very interactive, discussion-based workshop. In addition to the class meetings, a substantial commitment of time is needed for completing labs and studying on the weeknights and weekends during the workshop. This workshop is not recommended unless the participant is able to devote considerable time outside of class meetings for exam preparation. A reliable Internet connection to participate actively with video and audio is required.
Students must have access to a stable desktop or laptop computer, equipped with a webcam, to complete the workshop's coursework and to take the online exam. Supported platforms include Mac and Windows OS (see note for Windows users below). Further, tablets (of any kind) are not supported for taking the exam. In order to successfully install the SAP software, students must have full administrator rights to their computer. DePaul students are also able to connect to the software, installed in the computer labs, via remote desktop connection.
NOTE for Windows users
Supported Platforms for installing the SAPGUI software:
- Windows 8.1 32-bit/64-bit (only "Pro" and "Enterprise" editions) - limited support
- Windows 10, 32-bit/64-bit (only "Pro"and "Enterprise" editions)
The SAPGUI is NOT supported for most tablets. The GUI is for full Windows operating systems. Only tablets that run full window operating systems functionality will support GUI installation.
