DePaul CDM Research

In CDM’s Robotics and Medical Engineering Lab, Assistant Professor Isuru Godage investigates how the combination of stiff and soft robotic components can create novel robotic hybrids that exploit the advantages and conceal the inherent weaknesses of individual technologies.
 

 

Assistant Professor Alireza Khatami’s feature film, Oblivion Verses, premiered at the 74th Venice Film Festival, winning three major awards: the Orizzonti award for best screenplay, Fipresci Best Debut, and Interfilm award.
 

 
International Design Awards

Assistant Professor Nathan Matteson and his design company, Obstructures, received a Gold Medal First Place Award in product design at the International Design Awards (“Other Products” category) for their new all-aluminum bass guitar.
